Dr. Desai earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University and his medical degree from the American University of Antigua. Dr. Desai completed an internal medicine internship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in Queens, New York, followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Northwestern Medicine Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois, where he later served as chief resident. He then completed a pain medicine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
Dr. Desai co-founded a brain injury telerehabilitation clinic and has served as a pain medicine consultant, interventional pain physician, and physiatrist. He specializes in minimally invasive pain management techniques, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and radiofrequency ablation, to effectively treat and alleviate pain.
Dr. Desai is available to provide patient care in East Los Angeles.
