- ViewMedica is a medical animation library used by orthopedic practices nationwide. Each video is created by medical illustrators, reviewed by physicians, and updated as standards of care evolve. LAOSS licenses the full library so our patients can watch every topic free of charge.
- No. The animations explain conditions and treatments in general terms — they can't examine you, review your imaging, or weigh your history and goals. Use them to understand the vocabulary and prepare questions, then bring those questions to your LAOSS specialist.
- Use the search bar and category filters built into the player above. Topics are organized by body area — knee, hip, shoulder, spine, hand, foot — and by type: conditions, surgical procedures, and non-surgical treatments. Most videos run under three minutes.
