Originally from New York, Dr. Perrone earned his Bachelor’s degree in health science and Master’s in Public Health (focused on Public Health Policy and Administration) from the University of Florida in Gainesville. He then attended the Morsani College of Medicine at the University of South Florida, graduating in 2014 with an election into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. In 2019, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Perrone pursued an orthopedic sports medicine fellowship at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles, where he served as an associate team physician for the LA Galaxy, USC Trojans Men’s Football Team, and Anaheim Ducks. He then completed specialized training in sports foot & ankle and trauma at the Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado, working as an associate team physician for the U.S. Ski & Snowboard Team.

An active leader in orthopedic sports medicine, Dr. Perrone serves on the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM) committee and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society (AOFAS). He has published research articles in academic journals and has presented at national conferences.

Dr. Perrone specializes in lower extremity sports injuries, helping athletes of all levels achieve peak performance and optimal recovery through personalized rehabilitation and surgical expertise.

Dr. Perrone is available for patient care at our Downtown Los Angeles, East Los Angeles, and Santa Fe Springs locations.
